SmartFilm vs Traditional Tear-Offs

Traditional tear-offs are designed to be removed and discarded as soon as they become dirty. SmartFilm takes a different approach by providing a durable protective layer that can be cleaned and reused.

Rather than carrying a stack of tear-offs and pulling them off one at a time, SmartFilm can be wiped clean when conditions get messy.

It also acts as a sacrificial layer, helping protect the original goggle lens from the scratches and abrasion that come with regular off-road riding.

Installation

For best results, apply SmartFilm to a clean, dry lens.

1. Thoroughly clean the goggle lens and remove any dust or debris.
2. Carefully peel back part of the protective backing.
3. Position the SmartFilm accurately on the lens.
4. Gradually remove the backing while applying the film to the lens.
5. Smooth the film across the lens to minimise air bubbles or creases.
6. Apply firm, even pressure to ensure good adhesion.
7. Remove the outer protective layer once installation is complete.

Take your time during installation — getting the first edge correctly positioned makes the rest of the application much easier.

Cleaning & Care

Clean the SmartFilm using clean water or a mild soap solution and a soft, clean cloth.

Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents or abrasive cleaning products that could damage the film’s protective coating.

For best performance, replace the SmartFilm when it becomes heavily scratched, damaged or no longer provides a clear field of vision.

50mm SmartFilm:
The 50mm version is the standard option for compatible goggle lenses and is supplied in a 3-pack.

62mm SmartFilm:
The larger 62mm version is designed for larger lens applications and is specifically suited to tear-off lens applications.

Important: SmartFilm sizes are not interchangeable. Check your goggle/lens dimensions before ordering.
