Motul A1 Air Filter Clean is a powerful cleaner specifically developed for foam motorcycle air filters. It removes air filter oil, dust, mud, sand and other contaminants, helping restore the filter’s airflow and filtration performance.

The 5L container makes it an ideal workshop-size solution for regular maintenance of motocross, enduro, trail and other off-road motorcycles.

A clean air filter is critical to maintaining proper airflow and protecting the engine from dirt and abrasive particles.

Motul A1 Air Filter Clean is specially formulated to clean foam air filters, effectively removing accumulated air filter oil, dirt, dust, mud and sand. Its fast-drying formulation helps get filters ready for the next stage of servicing without unnecessary waiting.

Unlike using petrol as a filter cleaner, Motul A1 is specifically designed for cleaning foam air filters without the same tendency to warp or harden the filter material.

How To Use

1. Remove the foam air filter from the motorcycle.
2. Apply Motul A1 Air Filter Clean and work the cleaner through the foam to loosen oil and contaminants.
3. Allow dirt and old filter oil to drain away.
4. Rinse the filter as required and allow it to dry completely.
5. Once clean and dry, apply a suitable foam air filter oil before refitting.

For best results, use Motul A3 Air Filter Oil after cleaning to restore the filter’s protective oil coating.
