The Renthal Fatbar 604 RC is a high-performance, tapered motocross handlebar designed for riders looking for a strong, lightweight and proven alternative to a conventional 7/8-inch handlebar.
The RC bend sits close to the middle of Renthal’s motocross handlebar bend range and has been one of the company’s most popular profiles. The bend was popularised by Ricky Carmichael during his time with Pro Circuit Kawasaki and American Honda and has since been used by numerous top-level motocross riders.
The Fatbar uses an oversized 28.6mm (1-1/8-inch) clamping diameter, tapering down to 22.2mm (7/8-inch) at the controls, allowing standard handlebar controls to be retained.
7010-T6 Aluminium Construction
Renthal manufactures the Fatbar from its specially developed 7010-T6 aluminium alloy.
The tapered, unbraced construction uses computer-aided profiling to optimise material distribution, providing a strong and durable handlebar while retaining the controlled flex characteristics associated with Renthal Fatbars. Renthal also uses the material and construction to help reduce vibration transmitted through the handlebar.
