Motocool Expert is a ready-to-use coolant specifically developed for motorcycle cooling systems. It provides both cooling and protection against corrosion and freezing, making it suitable for everyday road bikes as well as motorcycles used in demanding conditions.

The formulation provides protection for cooling-system components while helping maintain efficient heat transfer. It is supplied ready to use, so no mixing or dilution with water is required.

With freeze protection to -37°C, Motocool Expert is suitable for year-round use where a motorcycle requires a conventional antifreeze/coolant solution.

How To Use

Motul Motocool Expert -37°C is ready to use.

1. Ensure the engine and cooling system are completely cold.
2. Drain the existing coolant according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedure.
3. Flush the cooling system if required.
4. Fill directly with Motocool Expert -37°C.
5. Do not add water or dilute the product.
6. Bleed the cooling system according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
7. Check the coolant level again once the engine has cooled.

Always follow the motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended coolant type and service interval.

Important Information

Do not mix Motocool Expert with incompatible coolant types. When replacing coolant, flushing the existing system may be appropriate to avoid mixing different coolant technologies.

Only check, drain or refill coolant when the engine is completely cold.

Motocool Expert vs Motocool Factory Line

Both products are ready-to-use motorcycle coolants, but they sit slightly differently within the Motul range.

Motocool Expert -37°C is a general-purpose motorcycle coolant providing reliable cooling, anti-corrosion protection and strong antifreeze protection.

Motocool Factory Line -35°C is positioned by Motul for more performance-focused and racing applications.

Neither product requires dilution.

Motocool Expert vs MoCool

These products are not interchangeable.

Motocool Expert: Ready-to-use coolant with antifreeze protection to -37°C.

MoCool: Concentrated cooling-system additive mixed at 5% with distilled or deionised water. It does not provide antifreeze protection.

For applications where a racing organisation specifically requires water-only cooling systems, check the applicable regulations before using coolant.
